The Rete di Riserve Val di Cembra Avisio is a tool created to carry out actions for the active conservation of nature and projects for the enhancement and sustainable development of the territory.
It was born in 2011 thanks to a voluntary agreement between the former Municipalities of Grumes, Faver, Grauno and Valda (today the Municipality of Altavalle), the Municipality of Capriana, the Community of the Cembra Valley, the ASUC of Rover Carbonare and the Magnifica Comunità di Fiemme with the Autonomous Province of Trento.
In 2016 the Municipality of Segonzano and the Consortium of Municipalities of the BIM dell'Adige signed the agreement and at the end of 2019 the Municipalities of Valfloriana, Cembra Lisignago, Lona Lases and Albiano, the ASUC of Lases and Lona and the territorial community of Val di Fiemme also joined the Network.
The lead body of the Network of Reserves is the Community of the Cembra Valley.
The Network of Reserves: what does it do?
- The Network of Reserves deals with research and active conservation of nature, environmental education and enhancement of the territory.
- The Network promotes events, workshops and visits to make known and appreciate the precious environmental and cultural heritage of the valley, its landscape, historical, geological and food and wine peculiarities and, at the same time, to support the economic activities of the area.
The fundamental objective of the Network of Reserves is therefore to protect and enhance the territory, developing and supporting sustainable economic activities in favor of local communities.
